OCEAN LOVE DREAM
The challenge is simple: take the Route du Rhum route, on the smallest boat ever – a 6.72 meter non-habitable trimaran. Yes non-habitable. Departure, today Thursday 30 October 2014 from St-Malo, France.
For the first time Vincent Beauvarlet will attempt to cross the Atlantic from St Malo, France to Point a Pitre (Guadeloupe), alone without docking. “It’s a dream come true! I have always wanted to cross the Altlantic on my own, the human experience, being alone in the middle of the ocean, free, in total connection with nature.”
The trimaran, being just above 6 meters, has limited space and storage for food and drinkable water. It will take only ten days for Vincent to run out of fresh produce and he will have to switch to lyophilized food. In addition to that, he will need a supplement to support the extreme conditions and keep his body performing at an optimized level.
We are so proud that Vincent chose Apsu’s Superfood Multivitamin supplement to provide him with the best support. Our unique formula convinced him, his nutritionists and doctors in charge of supervising his health on this adventure, that Apsu was the perfect choice.
Vincent is a true and fearless waterman and a surfer at heart, not the one you will find on the cover of magazines, but a rare kind. Surfing, kiting, windsurfing Jaws or sailing – he does it all. Setting sails on a non-habitable catamaran world tour is just another way he expresses his need to connect to the forces of nature.
We are wishing him all the best and invite you to follow this amazing adventure!
